April 22, 2018 Leave a Comment

nba playoffsAs of the time of writing this blog post, Oklahoma City Thunder had just lost Game 3 of Round 1 of their NBA Playoff game against Utah Jazz.

Although they won the first and the last quarter of that game, Utah Jazz made the most of both the second and the third quarters to complete their comeback in the series. OKC Thunder who won the first game of the series now trail by 2-1 after losing two games in a row.

This has sort of been the story since the NBA Playoffs began this season. Teams like the New Orleans Pelicans blazed the trail and ousted Portland Trail Blazers. Golden State Warriors has blown San Antonio Spurs away with the series at 3-0 in favor of GSW. That’s the largest leads you’ll find in the Playoffs this year.

The other games are pretty well too tight to call. Think you can make the correct calls for this game and earn yourself some extra cash? Here are some of the games:

  1. Philadelphia 76ers vs. Miami Heats

The Philadelphia franchise are currently leading the series by 3-1 and could win the series with just one more win. But the Heats, with Dwayne Wade in their ranks, cannot be completely overlooked in this one. They were able to pull themselves level when the 76ers won the first game.

Do you think Wade and co can pull a surprise comeback in this series?

The Celtics are without their star man, Kyrie Irving for the series. After taking a 2-0 lead in the series, the Milwaukee Bucks won Game 3 blowing their opponents away and making Game 4 one to look out for. The Bucks will be looking to draw level while Celtics will want to stretch their lead.

  1. Indiana Pacers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Before this matchup, Lebron James had never lost the opening game of any of the Playoff rounds he had played in his career. That was until his Cavs team played Victor Oladipo’s Indiana Pacers. The first game saw the Cavs lose. Lebron James dominated the second game and won it.

The third game saw Indiana Pacers regain their lead, with Bogdanovic scoring 30 points and Oladipo making 7 assists.

Game 4 is up for grabs.
Do you think King James can draw level or will the Pacers increase the gap between both teams?

  1. Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Houston Rockets

James Harden’s Houston Rockets were well on their way to a rollercoaster ride… until the Minnesota Timberwolves stopped them in their tracks. After winning the first 2 games of the series, the Timberwolves stepped up to the plate and claimed Game 3, winning 121-105.

Houston Rockets, after finishing the regular season top of the Western Conference, is one of the franchises heavily tipped to win the NBA Championship this year. But they have to find a way past the Timberwolves. Can they pull it off?
