Being one of the hardest-hit nations in the world by the pandemic, the U.S.A. should be the last nation where sport should be resuming. With over 155,000 deaths so far, Americans are struggling to contain the virus and its effects.
Surely, sports should be the last thing on the minds of the citizens of this nation.
However, sports organizations in the country, in a defiant move, have resumed sporting activities. Some have opted for a central venue for the resumption of games. Others, like Major League Baseball, have opted for games across the country, in empty stadiums.
Either way, August is going to be a month full of sporting activities in the U.S. With several games to bet on – and cash out from – it can be a bit overwhelming if you don’t know where to look. And that’s why we’ve decided to write this blog post for you, something like a map to give you directions.
As the American sports season comes alive, what sporting events are available to bet on?

NBA
After a few days of training, friendly games, and basketball games have tipped off! After 138 days since the last NBA game was played, Utah Jazz recorded a 106-104 victory over New Orleans Pelicans in the first game of the NBA’s restart.
7 games have since been played, with each game finishing with at least 200 points scored. No team has scored less than 100 points since the league resumed.

MLB
In the last round of Major League Baseball (MLB) games, one didn’t go on as planned.
The proposed clash between Miami Marlins and Washington Nationals was postponed because four more members of the Marlins team tested positive for COVID-19. Three of the upcoming games may already be postponed.
However, there’s still plenty of action to cash in on as teams fight for points and home runs.

NHL
Action in the National Hockey League (NHL) kicks off with the post-season as teams vie for a place in the final. Very much unlike what the league is used to, this year’s playoff format will take the shape of a 24-team tournament.
