A new month is here! With the end of the first quarter of the year, we begin the second quarter of the year, starting with the month of April.
The first three months of 2018 have been eventful so far, especially in the world of sports. And looking into the month of April, it’s about to get even more exciting with the line-up of sporting events set to take place during the month.

This month, there will be three Formula 1 races – the Bahrain Grand Prix, the Chinese Grand Prix and the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. That’s plenty enough races for Mercedes to make it back to the top of the constructors’ standings. It’s plenty enough for Lewis Hamilton to return to the top of the drivers’ standings and that enough races for you to make money from this month.

As the football season in Europe draws to an end, there will be plenty enough drama to benefit from this month, especially in Europe’s top five football leagues – the Premier League, Spanish La Liga, French Ligue 1, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A.
April will also witness the quarter-finals and the semi-finals of both the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League where the likes of Manchester City will take on Liverpool.
Then the FA Cup semi-final will also take place in Wembley this month, with Manchester United set to take on Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea set to take on Southampton.
The countdown to the end of the regular season in the NBA continues. The regular season will end on the 11th of April while the playoffs will begin on the 14th of April.
While the Houston Rockets have clinched top spot, the Golden State Warriors have been suffering, in the absence of their star man, Steph Curry. They’ve lost 6 of their last 10 games, a streak that would have been impossible with Curry on the team.
The Commonwealth Games
From the 4th to the 15th of April, the Commonwealth games will take place in Australia. The event will feature sports like boxing, rugby, basketball, hockey, amongst others.
The Masters – one of the four major championships in golf – will take place in Augusta in the first week of the month. With Tiger Woods enjoying an amazing comeback from his injury lay-off in March, he’s very well among the contenders to win the competition.
