This is the 15th time that Rafael will be qualifying for the ATP World Tour Finals, and this year, he was the first player to qualify for the event.

He has the highest number of points among all the players who qualified to compete at the ATP World Tour (9,585)

This year, he has won three titles and played in six semi-finals.

The season began for him at the Australian Open where he lost to Novak Djokovic in the finals, and there were three losses following that in a row.

Novak got his 15th grand slam title after he defeated Rafael Nadal at the Australian Open.

He got his second win of the season at the Madrid Open where he defeated Tsitsipas in the final.

Playing as the defending champion, he won his 16th Grand Slam at Wimbledon. The next stop was his win at the Japan Open where he defeated John Millman.

He also won his fifth title in Paris Masters this year.  He has 8,945 points and is second on the list.

  1. Roger Federer

Roger Federer is the third-highest ranked player for this year. He has 6,190 points.

He began the season with a win at the Hopman Cup and became the first player to win the mixed-gender event three times.

He also won his 100th career singles title at the Dubai Tennis Championship.

He won at the Halle Open too. He has had his share of wins as well as losses. But for him to have gotten to be the third on the list, then he has performed brilliantly.
