The Serie A is one of the top five Europa leagues in Europe. This year, the title race in Italy’s premier club football league has been feistier than ever. What used to be a one-horse race has turned into a title race involving three teams, Inter Milan, Juventus and SS Lazio.

Now is the best time to cash in on all the drama that is going on in the league. However, an outbreak of COVID-19 in Italy, the strain of coronavirus that originated in China, has affected club football in the country. Six northern regions have been affected so far, with league games from last week being postponed.

With another weekend approaching, games may be played behind closed doors or be postponed, yet again, to avoid the spread of the virus. If you have been planning to bet on blockbuster games in the league this weekend, like the one between Juventus and Inter Milan, you may want to consider some of these other games:

  1. The EFL Cup Final

After securing a 2-1 win at the Santiago Bernabeu, all roads now lead to Wembley Stadium for Manchester City. Up next for Guardiola’s side is a cup final against Aton Villa. As the current cup holders, Man. City will be looking to retain their hold on the trophy.

18 goals have been scored in the last four meetings between both sides.

Despite losing three of their last five games, Aston Villa have scored seven goals in those last five games. However, Aston Villa have only scored only once against Man. City in their last five clashes against the Citizens.

  1. El Clasico

The month of March will start with fireworks as the second El Clasico will be played this Sunday. Both sides head into the clash separated by just two points on the league table. A win for Barcelona will increase their lead by five points. A win for Real Madrid will see the Los Blancos overtake the Blaugrana at the top of the table.

Real Madrid have the best defense in the league this season.
Barcelona have the best offense in the league.

  1. Tottenham vs. Wolves

It’s another Super Sunday clash in the Premier League as Jose Mourinho’s side take on Wolverhampton Wanders. Only Liverpool have scored against Wolves in their last five games having kept a clean sheet against Manchester United, Espanyol, Norwich and Leicester.

Four of the last five meetings between these two sides have ended with goals scored at both ends of the pitch.

Spurs have lost two of their last five games after managing three league wins. Tottenham have won four of their last five home games while Wolves have only won once in their last five.
