Let’s take look at some other betting markets:

  1. Multiscores

In this market, you not only predict the outcome of the match or game; you also get the chance to bet on a range of scores, thereby increasing your chances of winning your bet.

In this market, different scores are grouped into different sections. To make money from this market, you must do three things:

  • predict the correct score of your selected game correctly,
  • find the other scores it is grouped with, and
  • place your bet and win.

Easy, right?

  1. Asian Handicap

In this market, teams are given a handicap – which can be positive or negative. It’s the same with giving a team an advantage or disadvantage before kick-off (like normal Handicap markets) but this time, the returns on your stake come in several different ways.

In the Asian Handicap market, there are more betting lines available than in the normal handicap market. In Asian Handicap, you have betting lines like -0.75, -0.5, -0.25, 0, +0.25, +0.5, +0.75. The decimals are called midpoints and it’s the reason the possibility of a draw in Asian Handicap betting is eliminated.

This means you can only bet on two options – instead of three – betting on the home or away team with a 50% chance of success.

  1. H2H Race Drivers

As you can imply from the name, this is a market available in Motor Sports.

In this market, drivers are paired with each other in over 27 different pairings. The odds for each driver in different pairings vary.

Each pairing presents you with the option to bet on which driver you think will finish ahead of the one he/she has been paired with.

Let’s use Formula 1 as an example.

Before an F1 race, a pairing like Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel is just one of the several pairings you will see on display. If you think Hamilton will finish ahead of Vettel, you simply click on Hamilton, and vice versa.

  1. Most Scoring Half

This one is a quite straightforward market and you can find it in sports like football, basketball, rugby and many more.

To make money from this market, you simply need to predict correctly, the half of the game that will have more goals scored in it. For football you can pick either the first half or the second half. In basketball, you can back either the first half (1st and 2nd quarter) or you can back the second half (3rd and 4th quarter).

Remember to use this blog post as your guide. Read and re-read it again to help you understand these betting markets better. While we will continue in the coming weeks, please feel free to leave us a comment if there’s any betting market you don’t understand and we will be sure to include it in our next article.
