Because of the peculiarity of the season, the English Championship league has featured more mid-week games than usual. And the games are set to continue this week.
As we enter into a new month, the battle for which teams will rise to the top and which ones will feature in the playoffs will continue. With only a handful of teams not scoring last season, the race to find the back of the net and pick maximum points will continue.
Speaking of race, Norwich City has taken an early lead on the log table.
After 33 league games played, they’ve opened up a seven-point lead at the top. Currently enjoying a winning run that has spanned five games – just one loss in 10 – Daniel Farke’s side is making a strong claim for promotion back into the Premier League.

Despite losing the likes Watkins and Benrahma this season, Ivan Toney has stepped up to the plate, scoring over a third of the goals Brentford have managed this season.
The 61 goals they’ve scored this season is the most any side has managed this campaign. But after three losses in a row in February, they’ve lost momentum.
With Watford three points away from second-place (which assures automatic qualification), Brentford have to up their game starting this week.

The Swans can ride on the waves of their tough defense as they try to either gain automatic promotion or finish in a Play-off spot.
At the bottom of the log, Wycombe, rock-bottom for most of the season, seems destined to return to the League One. They’ve only managed five wins this season – two coming in their last 10 games. With 53 goals conceded, theirs is the worst defense in the league.
