It feels just like yesterday when we started the year 2018. Some 88 days later, we have come to the end of the first quarter of the year.
And this is the perfect time to make some evaluations about the goals and targets you set for yourself when you began the year, especially when it comes to the targets you planned to reach with your betting investments this year.
If you didn’t think it was necessary to have a betting plan listing out how much you want to make from betting this year, amongst other things, think again. You may think of betting as just something that deals with pure luck. And you’re probably right.
But remember that you’re investing your hard-earned money. This should at least be reason enough for you to map out your betting strategy and have a target you’re working towards. You can start this new quarter and see how it works out for you.

Regardless of whether you had a betting plan for the year or not, one major question that should be part of your evaluation process is, “Did I make any profit from betting this quarter?”
There are several other questions that you can ask yourself in this evaluation process. But knowing whether you’re running your “betting business” at a profit or at a loss will go a long way in helping you figure out:
-
What worked and what didn’t
If you can remember, or check through you betting history, look for all the bets that you won and the ones that you didn’t. Make a conscious effort and try to remember how you placed each bet or what motivated you to place each winning bet and each losing bet.
We know it’s a lot of hard work. But then again, it’s necessary if you’re going to make anything at all out of betting. Did using stats work for you? What of those times when you placed your bets instinctively? Which one put more money in your pocket and which one took more money out of it?
-
What to do in the next quarter
Finding the answers to all these questions will open your eyes to discover strategies that you never thought of or imagined. For instance, when you find out that using statistics worked very well for you this quarter, you will most likely now concentrate more on using stats because it is what works for you.
This in turn means that you won’t be swayed or distracted by what teams your friends are staking their money on. In the long run, you will move faster in the right direction – reaching your set targets – and make more profit from your betting business.
Did you make any profit from betting this quarter?” How much profit did you make? When you’re done with your evaluations, you can leave us a comment and let us know how you’ve fared in your betting journey this quarter and what you plan to do better.
Cheers to better days ahead!
