For a while now, football action has resumed in the German Bundesliga.
Two weeks to be precise. And the league has featured an avalanche of goals since it returned.
The first weekend saw only one game finish without a goal, with the remaining eight featuring at least two goals. The following weekend of resumption saw at least one goal scored in every game, with six of the nine featuring at least three goals.
For the first time since the league resumed, action will take place mid-week. And it’s going to feature, among other games, the world-famous Klassiker.
The German Clasico will see Borussia Dortmund play host to Bayern Munich in what is set to be a potential Bundesliga title decider.
It’s second versus first in the league, with both teams separated by just four points. While Bayern Munich have a superior goal difference, they will be wary of a slip up which could see their lead reduce. They also have to be wary of a Dortmund side that has scored six goals in their last two games without conceding.
