Not many teams can say they’ve beaten Manchester United this season. Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham are one of those few teams and they didn’t just beat United, they destroyed them. Last October, Spurs came from a goal down to shock United by beating them 6-1 at Old Trafford.
The score-line sent shockwaves throughout the Football World. It was supposed to indicate the demise of Solskjaer’s United and the rise of Mourinho’s Tottenham. In fact, Spurs topped the table soon after that and there were talks of them winning the Title.
Things haven’t turned out that way though. Tottenham are now battling for a top 4 finish while United are comfortably 2nd in the Premier League.
Can they do it? Click here to predict & win.
Manchester United who topped the Table for a few weeks will look to add pressure on first placed Manchester City. City surprisingly lost at home to 10-man Leeds and are 14 points ahead but have played 2 games more. United will however have to produce a much-improved display from their last meeting with Jose Mourinho’s side.
Harry Kane and Bruno Fernandes are the main men for both their teams this season. Kane has 19 goals and 13 assists this season while Fernandes has 16 goals and 11 assists.
Put in mind that United still boast an unbeaten away record in the Premier League stretching over a year now. They’ll be targeting a revenge victory for the shocking 6-1 loss earlier this season but Mourinho will be hoping to see his side do well in their top 4 quest.
What do you think then? Do you think Manchester truly avenge their humiliation at the hands of Tottenham or will Spurs have the upper hand? Back your prediction up with your stake.
