Unlike other leagues in Europe, there’s still plenty of football to be played in the Italian Serie A.
Before July is over, 19 games will be played in the league. And the first Sunday in August will feature the final round of games in the league.
So far, Juventus seem destined for yet another Serie A title win. Atalanta’s failure to defeat AC Milan in Friday’s clash meant they’re now five points behind Juventus. Cristiano Ronaldo and co. are just one more win away from claiming the 2019/2020 Serie A title.
The Old Lady will be looking to bounce back from their shock away loss to Udinese in Round 35. Thiers was one of the five away losses registered in the round. With only one Serie A game in the last 21 finishing in a 0-0 draw, you can expect a lot of goals as the season winds to a close.

While Juventus host Sampdoria in their next game, Inter Milan can displace Atalanta in second place with a win over Genoa.
Antonio Conte’s men are unbeaten in their last five Serie A appearances. However, three of those games have ended in a draw. In the history of this fixture, however, the last 13 editions have always produced a winner.
SS Lazio have earned enough points to secure Champions League football next season. For Simeone Inzaghi’s side, it’s now a matter of finishing as high as possible. There’s also the little matter of helping Ciro Immobile to finish the season as the top goal scorer when they travel to Verona.

Champions League spots may be confirmed already. But there’s still a tussle for the two available Europa League spots. AC Milan’s draw saw them fail to increase their lead over Napoli in seventh place. Ahead of Milan, in fifth, is AS Roma. And up next for the Romans is their clash against Fiorentina.
If Roma, with a win over Fiorentina, stretch their unbeaten run to six games, they will inch closer to playing Europa League football next season. For Napoli, they have to win their next two games – starting with their game against Sassuolo – if they want to play European football next season.

Lecce are in the 18th. To stay up in the league, they need to win their last three Serie A games. More importantly, they need to improve their away record – no wins in the last five – if they’re to stand a chance in their next two games, against Bologna and Udinese.
