Games to watch out for
A Champions League group stage ticket is at stake. And that’s the major reason why all the games that will be played should be as exciting as any other Champions League game.
But with the kind of names involved in this round of qualifying games, there are some games that you should look out for which include:
- PAOK vs. Basel: Both teams are just joining the qualification race. This means both teams have, until now, only been playing friendly games. To make things more interesting, both names are not strangers to the group stages of the Champions League so they will be looking to make a return to the league this season.

- Ajax vs. Sturm Graz: Two teams that will start their campaign in this second round. One is a big name in the Netherlands, the other plays in Austria, a league which is popular for a lot of goals being scored.
- Celtic vs. Rosenborg: The Scottish giants scored six goals in the first two legs of their campaign while Rosenborg scored three. While Celtic won both legs of their first qualifying round games, Rosenborg lost their first game (away to Valur) before recovering at home.
