Champions League Tournaments

Champions League Tournaments

Last week was a very exciting one in the world of football, but especially in the Champions League.

First, it was Barcelona’s epic loss and then, Man City’s defeat by Lyon. This week, however, promises to be more exciting as the semi-finals will be played. Apart from the semi-final games, Champions League qualifying games for next year have begun.

Normally, if the pandemic had not happened, the Finals for this year would have been completed and all focus would be on the qualifying games for the next season.

This is good news for you though. You have more games you can choose from and place your bet on this week. Without wasting time, let’s look at the tournaments you can cash in on this week.

Lyon vs. Bayern Munich

These two teams will be meeting this week after surprising us last week.

Barcelona took a huge whipping from Bayern last week. Their game ended with Bayern scoring eight goals and Barcelona just two.

Lyon, on the other hand, have proven themselves to be worthy opponents, especially after their game with Man. City ended with a 3-1 scoreline in their favour.

This game will be the ninth time both teams will be meeting in a European competition. Out of the eight times they have met, Bayern won four matches while Lyon won just two. The remaining two ended in a draw.

Coincidentally, the last time they met was also in the Champions League Semi-final game in the 2009-2010 season. Bayern came out victorious with a 4-0 scoreline.

If history has anything to say, Bayern has proven to be a formidable team, but it is the game of football. Anything can happen.

In their past European meetings, Bayern lost only two out of eight games.
Do you think this will be another loss for them or would they come out on the winning side?

RB Leipzig vs PSG

Both teams will be going against each other tomorrow.

This is a big deal for both teams because this will be their first competitive meeting ever. PSG have played against three German sides during the knockout stages of the competition, and needless to say, they won all three.

This is the first time since 1995 that they have gotten to the Champions League Semi-finals; this game is a huge deal for them.

Both teams scored two goals in their last match and conceded a goal. They have performed brilliantly so far. At this point, we can only hope for the best side to win. Hopefully, one of them will surprise us just like Bayern did last week.

This is the first competitive meeting between both teams.
Which team will you be putting your money on?
RB Leipzig or Paris?
