The month of February is set to end on a high note, with plenty of football games to be played this week and first week of March. Starting today, it’ll be non-stop action in Europe’s top five leagues. While Premier League action continues, it’ll be mostly about cup action in various parts of Europe this week.
There may be only two days left in February. But it’s just the perfect time to make some extra cash from these cup games before March comes around. And these are the games to look out for:
-
Coppa Italia: Lazio vs. AC Milan
Both sides have both played two games each before getting to this stage of the competition. In recent games played, AC Milan has recorded a better form than their Roman counterparts. They have only lost once this year, against Juventus. Since then, Gattuso’s men have played seven games and won five.
The same cannot be said about Lazio. They’ve lost their last three games on the bounce, failing to score in two of those games.
How many will they concede against Milan?

Copa del Rey: Real Madrid vs. Barcelona
This will be the second time both teams will be meeting, in the space of three weeks. With Real Betis and Valencia set to play in the other semi-final, both sides are favorites to win the cup. The result of the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final will determine which team appears in the final.
With the away goal rule, Real Madrid takes an advantage into the second leg. However, they will have to cope with the full force of a Barcelona side with Lionel Messi. The Argentine did not play the full 90 minutes of the first leg.

Coupe de France: PSG vs. Dijon
The French outfit will play this game with an eye on their UCL clash with Manchester United next week. Of course, it is yet another chance for them to win another trophy. However, this trophy cannot be compared to the UEFA Champions League.
This may lead to Thomas Tuchel resting some of his key players for this clash. But it does not change anything for PSG. With the kind of history between both sides, it is largely expected that PSG wins this game. The last time Dijon defeated PSG was in 2011. Since then, both sides have faced each other six times, with PSG winning all six.

Cup games are pretty tricky. Unlike league games, managers tend to give fringe players the chance to prove themselves. Furthermore, it’s the perfect opportunity for smaller clubs to show just what they can do. That said, which of these teams will you bet on this week?
