This week, knockout football will be available for fans to enjoy in Europe’s top five leagues. Cup action will be in full flow as teams fight for a chance to get closer to the trophy at stake.
In Italy, the Coppa Italia will feature the semi-finals. And the two games to be played are nothing short of blockbuster games.
In the first semi-final, Inter Milan will take on Juventus in the Derby d’Italia. After getting the better of AC Milan in the quarter-final, Antonio Conte’s men will be looking to get the first-leg advantage in this two-legged affair. Unbeaten in their last six and playing this one at home, Inter Milan have a slight advantage over their opponents in this cup game.
However, Juventus will be hoping for a repeat of their history against Inter Milan.

In the other semi-final game, Napoli will face Atalanta in the Diego Maradona Stadium. With both sides scoring over 2,5 goals in 15 of their combined last 19 games, a goal fest in on the cards in this one.
In Spain, it’s time for the continuation of the Copa del Rey competition.
Six teams will be in action this week in the quarter-final. Sevilla, Barcelona, Real Betis, Athletico Bilbao, amongst others, will compete for the semi-final slots available.

Barcelona will be hoping that the noise about Messi’s wages does not distract the team from getting a cup win this week.
Villarreal’s eight-game unbeaten run will be put to the test this week when they take on Levante. With five of the last five editions of this game featuring at least three goals and both sides scoring, this one has goals written over it.
The final stop is in Germany as the DFB Pokal takes center-stage.
There’ll be no Bayern Munich in this one as the Bavarians got knocked by Holstein Kiel in the previous round. But the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, and Borussia Dortmund are still very much in the race to the DFB Pokal final.

While some of these cup games will be played over two legs, the others will be a go-big-or-go-home affair. Teams have to score during normal time or find the goals during extra time or play penalties for games to produce a winner.
