We are down to the Quarter-final games of the season.

Aston Villa vs Liverpool

Liverpool joined the EFL games in the third round this season while Aston Villa began the league run in the second round.

Aston Villa wins their first game against Crewe Alexandra with a 6-1 score line in their favour. Their next game was against Brighton and Hove Albion, which also ended in a win for them. the story of wins continued for them in their last game.

They played against Wolverhampton and also won (2-1).

Liverpool, on the other hand, have had their share of wins.

Their game in the third round was against Milton Keynes Dons and they won the game with two goals to none.

Their last game was against Arsenal and it ended in a draw but still, they made it to the semi-finals.

Oxford United vs Manchester City

Oxford United started the EFL games in the first round while Manchester City joined in the third round.

Oxford won their first game against Peterborough United with a goal to none. Their next stop was with Millwall where they finished the game with a draw.

They went on to meet West Ham United and won the game with a 4-0 finish. Their fourth round wasn’t any less good.

They met with Sunderland and finished with a draw.

Manchester City have had a better performance in their two games of the season. All the games they played ended in a win for them.

Manchester United vs Colchester United

It was a third-round entrance for Manchester United.

They played against Rochdale and finished the game with a 1-1 draw.  Their last game was against Chelsea, and they won with a goal ahead of Chelsea.

Colchester United, on the other hand, started in the first round. Their first game was against Swindon Town which they won. Their next game ended in a goalless draw, so also did their third game against Tottenham Hotspur.

Their last game though was better. They won the game with a 3-1 scoreline.

Both teams have had their share of wins and draw.

Colchester United have had their share of goalless games.
