Another weekend is here again, the first of the new month, and it presents yet another opportunity for you to earn some extra cash for yourself via sports betting. But there are over 1,500 football games set to be played this weekend. And that’s just football.
How do you find your way through this multitude of games and come out unscathed with some extra cash to splash during the new week? There are five ways you can go about it – more like there are five games you can focus on this weekend:
-
Manchester City vs. Chelsea
After defeating Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, Manchester City repeated the same feat, by same score margin, on Thursday to make sure of their 16-point lead at the top of the table. The Cityzens know they now need just five wins to wrap up the Premier League title.
For Chelsea, it’s all about making space for themselves in the top four. With their loss last week at the Theatre of Dreams, the Blues can’t afford any more slip ups. And they know it.
For all it’s worth, it seems like this one is a game of goals. There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Man. City’s last 13 home games (Premier League) and there have been over 2.5 goals scored in Chelsea’s last 5 Premier League games.

Napoli vs. AS Roma
It’s another first versus fifth game. Just that this time around, it’s happening in the Italian Serie A. Napoli have gone on some sort of winning streak in the Serie A, making themselves uncatchable for Juventus and co.
AS Roma, undefeated in 18 of their last 19 away games in the league, will be looking to find their way into the top four, stay there and enjoy automatic qualification for the next UEFA Champions League season.
While Napoli has scored at least one goal in their last six Serie A games at home, there have been under 2,5 goals scored in AS Roma’s last 7 away games.

Barcelona vs. Atletico Madrid
After Barcelona’s draw against Las Palmas, only five points separate them and second-place Atletico Madrid. A win for either side could as well seal the league title, making this a must-watch.
Stats to help: Barcelona has scored at least 2 goals in 23 of their last 24 games while Atletico has won their last 6 games in La Liga.
