This week, the 5th Round of the FA Cup will take place as the remaining 16 teams battle for a chance to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Approximately a month ago, the replays of the Round 4 FA Cup fixtures were played. Tottenham, Newcastle and Liverpool all ensured their qualification to the next round.
With a quarter-final ticket at stake, which teams will secure qualifications:
Chelsea vs. Liverpool
Both teams come into this game off the back of a surprising Premier League result over the weekend. While Lampard’s side drew to Bournemouth, Liverpool’s unbeaten streak came to an end with their loss to Watford.

It remains to be seen whether those results will affect the line-up of both sides. Both sides have now lost twice in their last five games in all competitions.
With Chelsea having won just once in their last five, they will be looking to return to winning this game, and also keeping the hope of winning a trophy this season alive.
Sheffield Wednesday vs. Manchester City
Fresh off winning the EFL Cup, Man. City aim to defend the FA Cup title they won last season.
In their way is Sheffield, a side responsible for eliminating one Premier League side already. The Championship side face an uphill task, not because Man. City are one of Europe’s finest.
The fact that Man. City have scored four goals each in their last two FA Cup games is a big source of worry for Sheffield. The history between both sides is also heavily in favor of Manchester City, as the Manchester Blues have won five of their last six games against Sheffield.

Tottenham vs. Norwich
This is the second of the two all-Premier-League fixtures in this round.
At home, Jose Mourinho’s side will want to avoid a draw and the stress of playing a FA Cup game replay. They also have to deal with their inability to keep a clean sheet in recent games.
Relegation-threatened Norwich will be hoping the FA Cup magic works in their favor this week.
Arsenal and Manchester United
The Gunners have to defeat Portsmouth if they’re to keep hopes of winning a trophy this season alive. Alongside Arsenal, Manchester United also have to travel away from home to face Derby County.
Unlike Manchester United, it’s been a smooth-sailing campaign for Arsenal as they have won their last two FA Cup games. Man. United, on the other hand, needed a replay to get the better of Wolves in the 3rd Round, before putting six past Tranmere Rovers in the 4th Round.
