When the year 2019 ended, the regular season ended with it. The Baltimore Ravens, with just two losses, finished the regular season as the best team in the AFC. It was a tighter regular season in the NFC, with three teams finishing as the best from the conference.
Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints all finished the regular season with just three defeats, out of 16 games. Of all these teams, only the San Francisco 49ers made it to the Super Bowl. On their way, they defeated Green Bay Packers to not only clinch the NFL Conference Championship title but also qualify for the NFL Super Bowl.
In the AFC, the best side from the regular season failed to make it past the divisional round as they lost to the Titans. More surprises ensued from the conference when the reigning champions, New England Patriots were eliminated by the Titans.
In the stead of all these teams, Kansas City Chiefs stepped up to be counted throughout the NFL Playoffs as they got the better of the Titans in the other Conference Championship. This win earned the Chiefs a place in Sunday’s NFL Super Bowl fiesta.

Super Bowl LIV will feature a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. In the ‘semi-finals,’ both sides blew away their opponents by scoring over 30 points respectively. Another thing both teams have in common is this: In the semi-finals, both sides scored their highest points of the game in the second quarter.

Since the turn of the year, Kansas City Chiefs have scored 86 points in two games. In comparison, the 49ers have only scored 64 points in their last two games. Backed by their form in recent games, Chiefs will also be spurred on by the fact that they are on quite a scoring form.
Though the Niners are viewed as the team with the vaunted defense, and the Chiefs the explosive offense, the reality is San Francisco scored more points per game during the regular season (29.9 to 28.2) while Kansas City allowed fewer (19.3 to 19.4).
