Every December, FIFA crowns the champion of club football via its FIFA Club World Cup competition. Featuring seven teams, one from each continent, the tournament is one that sees clubs vying for a chance to conquer the world.
Qatar has been the venue of the 2019 edition of the competition. Before the semi-finals kicked off, three games were played. This was before Liverpool and Flamengo joined the competition in the Middle East.
Of those three games, two ended with both sides scoring. However, none of the five teams that kicked of the tournament were able to make it all the way to the final.
The Australians were knocked out by Liverpool while Brazil’s Flamengo escorted Al-Hilal out of the competition, both at the semi-final stage. Now, all is set for the final of the competition, a contest between Liverpool and Flamengo, an intercontinental battle.

FIFA Club World Cup Final
From England, with love, Jurgen Klopp’s men are in Qatar as European champions. Their awesome (and hectic) year has continued very late into the year, with a bucket load of competitions to play in – and of course, win.
In their semi-final game, they had to wait for a last-minute goal from Roberto Firmino to salvage the game from going to extra time. The Premier League table-toppers will be absent from league duties this weekend as they embark on their quest to be crowned Champions of the World.
Liverpool’s struggles to keep a clean sheet continued in Qatar where they conceded a first-half goal in their first game. They will be hoping to keep their opponents at bay (or at least, outscore them) to lift the trophy.
Can they break this jinx to win their first-ever FIFA Club World Cup trophy?

Brazil produced this year’s Copa Libertadores champion in the form of Flamengo. The South American representatives will be looking to bank on their amazing start to the tournament this year. In their first game, they got the better of their Saudi Arabian counterparts, gaining qualification for the final.
The goals they scored (all in the second half) was a response to the early goal they conceded in the game. Being able to score three makes them threat enough to Liverpool’s chances of winning the game. The Brazilians go into this game knowing that Manchester United is the only English side that has won the FIFA Club World Cup.
