Italy vs. China PR
It’s been an exciting season so far for both teams.
Italy has been one of our surprises in the tournament this year. They top their group’s table with two wins, zero draws, and one loss.
This is great especially since this is their first world cup tournament since 1999.
And this is the first time they are competing in the knockout stage since the inauguration of the tournament in 1991.
Naturally, Italy is banking so much on this game. They have to make a statement in this game.
China, on the other hand, have done fairly well this season.
They finished the group stage as one of the best third laced teams in the tournament. They have been able to maintain their record of always progressing from the group stage.
Out of the three games played, they won only one. They lost one, and the final ended in a draw.
They have to improve on their game if they want to qualify for the quarterfinals.
This is the first time both teams will be meeting in the tournament ever. We are earnestly hoping that the best team wins.

Netherlands vs. Japan
This will be the final game played before the commencement of the quarterfinal games, and it promises to be very interesting.
It has been a fantastic tournament for the Netherlands. They win all three games they played in the group stages.
Japan, on the other hand, have not had it so easy. They finished with four points. They won 1 game, lost the other, and the final one ended in a draw.
Interestingly, these teams have met before in 2015, which coincidentally was Netherland’s first appearance in the WWC.
They met in this same stage, and Japan pulled them out of the competition. This is an opportunity for Netherland to redeem themselves.
So, expect a very intense match.
