4 Football Leagues to Bet On Before the German Bundesliga Returns

May 08, 2020 Leave a Comment

The biggest sports news that broke this week was that of the return of the German Bundesliga.

After weeks of watching clips from old games, fans are now set to enjoy top-level European club football. With the German government giving consent, the league will now resume on the 16th of May.

And while this is good news, you still have a few days of waiting before you can watch these games – and also bet on them.

But do you have to wait till the Bundesliga resumes before you start placing your bets and cashing out?

No, you don’t have to.

And this is because, while Germany’s premier club competition prepares to resume, football is already being played in some leagues across the world. Let’s take a look at few of them:

  1. K League 1 (K-League Classic)

Although ravaged at some point by the COVID-19 virus, the Asian country is now rising from the ashes. And as things gradually return to normalcy, the football league has been cleared to begin.

The K League 1, which should have resumed in March, will start off this weekend. Featuring 12 teams, games will still be played behind closed doors, as seen in the first game between Jeonbuk and Suwon Bluewings – which Jeonbuk won by a lone goal.

That, however, doesn’t affect betting on these games, with markets available to choose from on NairaBET.

  1. ePremier League Invitational

If you have not heard of this tournament, chances are that you’re already asking what it is.

Well, the ePremier League Invitational tournament features a group of Premier League footballers and special guests putting their EA SPORTS FIFA 20 skills to the test against each other.

This weekend will feature the semi-final and the final of this tournament.

For the record, this is the second edition of the tournament, with the first being won by Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Diogo Jota, who defeated Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold in a dramatic final, courtesy of a golden goal.

  1. Simulated Reality League

With live football set to resume in the coming days, it’s hard to tell what will become of the Simulated Reality League games.

However, instead of worrying about the future, make the most of what is available now: betting on the SRL games.

For the record, there are over 11 football leagues available to bet on in the SRL – ranging from the Serie A to the Turkish Super Lig.

  1. Premier League

No, it’s not the one in England. This one is the Premier League in the Faroe Islands.

The 10 teams in the league will be kicking things off this weekend as the 2020 season kicks off.

Only three points separated the top two sides last season (Klaksvik and B36 Torshavn). And it is largely expected that the drama will continue with the blast of the ref’s whistle this weekend.
