A typical football game has over 150 betting markets to choose from. Because of how random the sport is, even the simplest of these betting markets can be pretty hard to correctly select.

From predicting which team will win the game, to the number of yellow cards to be awarded in a game, this blog post takes a look at some of the most complex football betting markets.

  1. Correct Score

While the “To Win” market has just three options, the Correct Score market is more complicated. There can be as many as 30 options to choose from. Predicting the correct score line of a game is hard work enough. Having to choose one out of the 30 options makes it all the more complicated.

There are also other correct score markets including “Half-Time Correct Score” and “Half-Time/Full-Time Correct Score.

Depending on which option you choose, your stake is divided into two parts. You can win all, you can win half and lose half and you can lose all.

  1. Winning Margins

This is yet another complicated market for a number of reasons. Asides being able to identify whether or not it will be a game with goals, you also need to figure out which of the teams will be outscoring the other and by what specific margin. Depending on the game, there can be as many as 7 options per game.

  1. Mixed Markets

Making one correct prediction is hard work enough. Trying to make two in one betting can be pretty difficult. Markets like Double Chance and Both Teams to Score, Match Result and Both Teams to Score, and other mixed betting markets.

Of the four betting markets, which one have you tried your hands on? Have you been able to make money from any of them? Which betting market do you find the hardest generally? Leave us your comments and share your thoughts with us.
