How Do You Want to Make Money This Weekend: Football, Formula 1 or Basketball?

The weekend, for most, is the most anticipated part of the week. For some, it’s time to do the “aso-ebi” gang and slay one wedding party or the other. For some others, it’s the best time to relax after five days of either getting stuck in traffic or dealing with office work that seems unending.

The weekend is also the perfect time for others to make some money from their betting investments. With over 2000 games available to bet on in different sports, bettors are spoilt for choice. So…how do you want to make money this weekend?

1. Football

Of all the football games that will be played this weekend, one game you can make money from this weekend is the Madrid derby. Real Madrid takes on Atletico Madrid in what is expected to be a game with no dull moments.

There will be another derby in England on Sunday too. The London derby will see Chelsea and West Ham play against each other. Chelsea, on one hand, needs all the points they can get in their battle to finish in a top four place. For the Hammers, they need to avoid relegation.

2. Formula 1

Who would have thought that Ferarri would boss the opening stages of this year’s F1 season? It was expected that Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton would dominate the season from the first race. But reverse has been the case.

In Australia, Sebastian Vettel pipped Hamilton to win the race. The Bahrain Grand Prix is next for the drivers and it seems the struggle for Team Mercedes continues. Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel took one-two in second practice on Friday.

Mercedes? Valtteri Bottas finished the session third and Lewis Hamilton finished 0.092 secs adrift. But it’s just practice test. The real race comes up this Sunday.

3. Basketball

The regular season in the NBA is gradually coming to an end. The teams that will be playing in the play-offs already know themselves. The men are gradually being separated from the boys and we will soon have teams battling it out across conferences for that highly coveted trophy.

There will also be basketball action across Europe, South America and even in Asia. Plenty to choose from, right?
