For the first time in years, AC Milan scored five goals in a game when they face Bologna yesterday. Another rare result was high-scoring Atalanta finishing their game against Verona in a 1-1 draw.
The remainder of the Serie A season is littered with classic clashes. Napoli will still clash with Lazio. Atalanta and Inter Milan will still go head-to-head while Juventus will still host AS Roma. But before that last game of the season in Turin, The Old Lady have to find a way past Lazio.
Lazio may be fourth on the log currently after losing four of their last seven games. Lazio may have not fared well in recent games against Atalanta and AC Milan. However, they know how to play Juventus. And they will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they square off against each other on Monday.
Both teams are eight points apart on the table. For Juventus, however, it’s all about keeping their distance from the likes of Inter who they currently lead with six points. Revenge may also be on the menu too, considering that they (Juventus) lost the Italian Super Cup to this same side last year.

Lazio is not in any way a perfect side. Their recent record is worse than Juve’s as they haven’t won in their last four. Like Ronaldo’s side, they have struggled to keep a clean sheet, conceding in four of their last five.

Lazio to Win or Draw

With one more win in their final two meetings, Lazio have won three of their last four games away to Juventus. Not bad for a side that prides itself as the most recent thorn in the Old Lady’s flesh.

Ciro Immobile vs. Cristiano Ronaldo
Immobile seemed to be running away with the Capocannoniere gong until his last four games that has seen his goals dry up. The Italian who scored 29 goals in the 2017/2018 season has matched his tally of two years ago.
But to finish the season as top scorer, he has to score and also hope his teammates can keep Ronaldo at bay.

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently on 28 goals scored, having scored an average of one goal per game in his last seven. After missing out on the award last year, you can bet that the Portuguese now has the prize in his sights. And there’s no telling what he won’t do to get it.
