Santa is in town. And while this means more games for Premier League sides, the same cannot be said of other clubs in Europe. While there’ll be Boxing Day games in England, the La Liga and the Serie A will be quiet as the players take a winter break.
Just before the break, the last set of Serie A games for the year will be played this coming weekend. Two of the Round 17 games have already been played, with Sassuolo and Juventus winning away from home.
With eight games left to be played in this round, which of these teams will finish the year on a high? More importantly, which trends can you use to cash out from the remaining Serie A games of the year 2019.

Both Teams to Score
Italian Serie A teams, in recent times, have not held back when it comes to scoring goals. The league games have been awash with goals being scored in different directions.
In Round 15, seven of the 10 games played featured both sides scoring. The same happened in Round 16. Of the two Round 17 games that have already been played, one ended with both teams scoring.

Lazio to Score at Least Two Goals
One of the most in-form sides in Italy this season are the Romans. No, we’re not talking about AS Roma. This conversation has enough space for just one team, SS Lazio.
They have scored 27 goals in their last 10 league games. Put into further perspective, they’ve (literally) scored at least twice in all of their last 10 league games. It’s no wonder Ciro Immobile, with 17 goals, is the league’s highest goal scorer. In addition to their goal-scoring prowess, their leaky defense also means they’ve conceded in all of their last 10 games.

Over 3,5 Goals
Alongside Lazio, Atalanta, with 38 goals, are joint top-scorers of the Serie A. Another thing they have in common with Lazio is games with a large number of goals. In eight of their last 10 games, over 2,5 goals were scored. Six of those eight games featured over 3,5 goals.

Draw
Round 15 produced four draws. Round 16 produced three draws. With porous defenses and strikers firing on all cylinders, more games are ending in a stalemate in the league this season. It’s one of the trends in the league this season, one you should use to cash out this weekend.
