Leagues You Can Bet on This Weekend

Another weekend is here.

And it’s nothing like other weekends we have had in recent times. And that’s because action on the football scene has exploded to life after the hiatus in proceedings globally. From Asia to South America and Europe, club football is back – to be enjoyed and to also cash out from.

If you don’t have an idea of leagues to bet on this weekend, here are 10 to choose from:

  1. Scottish Premiership

The game between Celtic and Aberdeen has been called off because of COVID-19 concerns. While that’s one less game to bet on, there are other games to cash in on in Scotland this weekend.

After three games, Rangers are the best side in the league, scoring seven while keeping three clean sheets. Hibernian have scored the same number of goals, but have conceded two goals. Hamilton are rock-bottom of the league, after conceding six in two games, scoring just once.

  1. Brazilian Serie A

The bottom five clubs in the new season of Brazil’s premier football league are yet to win any points. They are currently six points off the table-toppers, Athletico PR.

  1. J League

Action has been on-going in Japan for a few weeks now. In terms of goals scored, Kawasaki Frontale (23 goals) and Kashiwa (20 goals) are the front-runners. Kawasaki are currently unbeaten in the league, leading Cerezo Osaka by 7 points.

  1. USL Championship

Featuring eight groups (some with four teams, others with five), Phoenix Rising, and Pittsburgh are the two highest-scoring sides. Phoenix have scored 19 in six games while Pittsburgh have averaged three per game in their last six.

  1. K League

Only Ulsan Hyundai have managed an average of two goals per game in the 15-round Korean premier club football league. The 11 goals scored and three conceded is the best any team has managed in the last five games.

In the ninth round, five of the six league games played finished with both teams getting on the scoreboard. Four of those six games saw at least three goals scored. Iceland’s top league is one where the goals are not scarce.

  1. Liga MX

Another league with 18 teams, the Liga MX enters its fifth round this weekend. And it’s the perfect time to cash in on the drama that is unfolding.

  1. Eliteserien

This league has been featuring so many goals in the past few weeks. For context, every team, save for one, has scored an average of one goal per game. Two of the 16 have managed an average of three goals scored per game while one has a record of scoring at least two goals per game.

  1. Veikkausliiga

In Finland, the team with the best defense is placed fifth on the table. The team with the best offense in the league is in the second spot. Tells just how competitive this league is.
