It has been a long run since August for the Premier League teams this season.
We already have strong contenders for the win this season, with Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Leicester City currently sitting at the top four spots on the league’s table.
This weekend, we are going to witness Liverpool take on Manchester United at Old Trafford stadium.
Which of these teams are you backing? The Reds or the Red Devils?
While you make your decision, let’s take a look at how both teams have fared so far this season:
Liverpool
So far, it has been a great season for Liverpool.
They sit number one on the league’s table with 24 points. Out of the eight games, they have played this season, they have won all eight.
Not only have they scored 20 goals, but they have also conceded only six.
It’s been a season of wins and goals for them which should put them in a confident stance going to face Man Utd, who have not had it so easy this season.
This game puts a lot of pressure on the team. If they do win, they will equal the record set by Man. City, an all time English top-flight record of 18 consecutive victories.
Do you think it will remain that way after this game? or will they experience their first loss?

Man. Utd
Man. Utd have not given the games their best this season.
At this point, they can only boast of two wins after they have played eight games. Three of those games ended in a draw and they lost the remaining three.
It’s nine points for them with a sit at the 12th spot on the league’s table.
There are injuries that Manchester Utd have to struggle with. Paul Pogba with the ankle injury and De Gea with a groin complaint.
We are not sure if we will be seeing Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones, Mason Greenwood, Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot tomorrow on the field.
On the bright side, Man. Utd have not been defeated in their last five home meetings with Liverpool in the Premier League. They won three games and the other two ended in a draw.
The fact that they are playing at home should give them an edge over Liverpool.
They have had only two wins.
Do you think that they can make this their third?
