After a five-month break, the new NFL season kicked off in the U.S.A in August.
The new season started off with some pre-season friendly games between the franchises.
Although these friendly games are warm-up games, they also give us some sort of insight into the new season. With the results from those games, fans have an outlook of what the season will be like.
Each team in the NFL franchise played four games during the NFL pre-season.
Of the 32 teams in the franchise, only three teams won all their four games. Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants and Buffalo Bills defeated all opposition teams they faced.
Two teams (Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars) lost all four of their pre-season games.
A new NFL season resumed this last weekend.
From now till December, there’ll be more than enough games to make some extra cash. The important question, however, is: how can you make money consistently from this sport that most people know little about?
Here are four tips to help you milk the American Football cow:
-
Bet on Points Total
Regardless of how many times we talk about team names, stats of teams and all, making money from NFL games will still be difficult for some. And why not?
It’s not the most popular game. Plus, most people don’t follow it avidly.
Despite all of that, you can still make successful bets on American Football games. If you’re not familiar with the teams, here’s one trick: Bet on total points to be scored in a game.
It’s almost impossible for an NFL game to finish without points being scored. Hence, predicting the total points to be scored in a game is one way to go.

Predict Highest Scoring Quarter
Just like any other sport, NFL games can be pretty random.
Teams can wait till the last quarter before going on a point-scoring spree. At other times, they can continue to make touchdowns through all four quarters.
Predicting which quarter will have the highest points is pretty risky. That being said, most NFL teams tend to score a lot of points in either the first or last quarter.
As Gameweek 2 approaches, which teams do you think will have their games stretch into overtime?
This is another betting opportunity in the NFL.

Back Last Year’s Finalists
New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints made the semi-final earlier this year. All four teams have started the new season well, winning their first games of the season.
They’re all favorites to dominate their conferences and make it as far as the Super Bowl in February next year. Looking to make some money from the NFL this year? This could be a good shortcut: Back these four teams!
As teams look forward to making more touchdowns, yard-by-yard dashes, interceptions and all, which team will you be supporting this season?
