It’s the second time in five days that Old Trafford will play host to a major clash.

Following the Manchester derby, the all-important clash between Man. United and Chelsea will take place on Sunday.

Manchester United fans, players and Management are still trying to recover from the sudden slump in form.

Their loss to Manchester City made it all the more obvious. It was their fourth loss in their last five games in all competitions.

Man. Utd has clearly seen better days.

They’re barely hanging on in their race to finish the season in a Champions League spot. Their home record has not been any good in recent times. They have lost two of their last three home games in which they registered only five shots on target.

The United fans have all the time in the world to complain about their players when the season ends. For now, the goal is simple: get back to winning ways and push all the way for a top-four finish.

It was hard against Manchester City.

And it will be equally hard when they take on Chelsea in their Super Sunday clash.

As for Chelsea, they’re also chasing a top four finish.

Placed fourth with 67 points, they’re in pole position to grab the fourth and final spot. After Arsenal dropped points against Wolves, the ball is now in Chelsea’s court.

All that’s left for them to do now is just keep winning. This is motivation enough for them as they travel to the Theatre of Dreams.

As motivated as the Blues are, their away woes will be ringing in their heads going into this one.

Only two of their last five meetings has seen both teams score.

Since the turn of the year, the Blues have yet to win a point or even score a goal against any side above the relegation zone.

Away games against Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Tottenham and Manchester City has ended in losses for Chelsea.

And in all these games, they failed to score.

For Manchester United, it is simple: A third consecutive loss will see them automatically lose out on a top four spot.

A win is all Chelsea needs from this game. With a win, they can narrow their top four fight to just themselves and Arsenal.
