In the latest edition of #SoccerBytes on NairaBET TV, George Essien (host) is joined by Segun Agbede (aka The Pundit) to discuss how they think the Super Eagles can bounce back from the Bafana Bafana defeat in Uyo, among other topics.
Let’s not spoil the fun for you. Enjoy the video below:
Key talking points from the video:
There’s no need to press the panic button… just yet.
The loss to S/Africa was as good as a wake-up call for all (which is generally a good thing in life). What’s important now is to ensure that the crew managing the Super Eagles see things from this stand point and “take advantage” of the loss.
All involved need to take a microscopic look at how events played out in Uyo. The game’s far gone now. We need to look ahead to the future; not in the form of permutation, but looking into how we can make the most of the games against Libya, Seychelles and of course, the return leg in South Africa – which is very possible to win.
Let the discussion continue: What’s your take on the loss to the South African National Team (Bafana Bafana), and what progressive measures would you suggest? The comments section is now yours…
