The final games in the European Championship qualifier served up some exciting games.

With that done and dusted, all is now set for the UEFA Nations League games set to be played in the coming days, starting this weekend. The rallying cries about the health of players is on the rise, with 99 Premier League players currently injured, according to ESPN. But the games will continue as scheduled.

Portugal vs. France
Not a lot of people expected that clash between these two sides would end in a goalless draw. Both sides, tied at top of the table with same points, go head-to-head again this weekend. Portugal head into this clash with the best offensive and defensive record in the group – They’ve scored nine goals and conceded just once.
When Croatia takes on Sweden in the other game of this League A, Group 3 game, the Swedes will be in search of a first win.

Italy vs. Poland
Of all the teams in the League A groups, only three are unbeaten in three rounds of games. And Italy is one of them. Alongside Portugal and France, the Italian are yet to lose a game. Despite this run, they are second in their group, and they face the group leaders, Poland.
While both sides have conceded two goals, the Poles have scored two more goals than the Italians.

Romania vs. Norway
Norway have scored 11 goals in their UEFA Nations League campaign so far. That’s one goal short of an average of three goals per game. It’s no wonder Erling Braut Haaland is the top scorer of the tournament so far, with six goals. No team has managed more goals in the tourney so far.
They face a Romania side that has lost two of their last four.

Slovakia vs. Scotland
Three days after securing qualification for the Euros, Scotland will be traveling to face Slovakia. This League B, Group 2 encounter will feature two sides that just secured their place in next year’s European Championship.
With both sides set to travel yet again, fatigue may be a serious concern when these two sides square off later this weekend.
