One of the most anticipated events in the NBA will take place this weekend. The NBA All-Star is a weekend in which regular play is suspended for fun activities by NBA stars, celebrities, and other entities. It’s usually a full weekend of various activities, not forgetting basketball games.
These games, however, come with a twist. Instead of regular teams playing against each other, players are drafted into two major teams that square off against each other in the weekend’s biggest show. These two teams are usually made up of players from the two conferences in the NBA: The Eastern and Western Conferences.
For the Eastern Conference, it will be captained by Lebron James, for the third time in a row. Below is what the team he drafted looks like:
Team LeBron
- LeBron James (Starter)

- Luka Doncic (Starter)
- James Harden (Starter)
- Damian Lillard
- Ben Simmons
- Nikola Jokic

If you’ve not seen one before, the NBA All-Star game is usually one of the most unserious games in an NBA season. Purely for entertainment, players are more about entertaining the fans and getting a good laugh on the court and also on the sidelines.
This is one of the reasons why every NBA All-Star Final game has produced over 300 points. From slam dunks to three-pointer shots made from the half-court line, it’s a typical game that has always featured a high amount of points.

Because of the fun that the players usually have, it’s usually hard to tell which way the game will go. After all, no one is usually taking the game seriously at the time. However, considering the trend in the past three years, Team Lebron goes into this game having the upper hand.
Lebron’s is not necessarily the side with the most experience. However, his is a side that has a reputation for winning this kind of games. For Giannis, it’s sort of a new experience for the Nigerian-Greek player. Leading a team to face Lebron’s side, in an NBA All-Star game is a daunting task, for anyone, including the Milwaukee Bucks star.
