The regular season is not in full swing yet. For some NFL (American Football) fans, it’s still a “long shot” away – even though the season resumes on the 8th of September. It’s been a long summer of close to no sporting action in Northern America as the sports stars have taken time off to relax for the new season ahead.
If you’re a NFL fan, and can’t wait till next month to see your favorite teams in action, you can as well make do with the pre-season games. That’s right, preparations for the new season has kicked off with pre-season friendlies between sides.
For the umpteenth time, players from all over the world defy all odds, close their minds to all the medical implications and start yet another journey to the ultimate prize: win games by whatever means and be at the Super Bowl, then probably win it.
The five-week pre-season period which has started since the 3rd of August continues till the regular season resumes. Some of the select pre-season friendlies are,
- Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texas
- Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins
- Arizona Cardinals at Detroit Lions
- New York Jets at Buffalo Bills
- Atlanta Falcons at Chicago Bears
- Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleaveland Browns
- Oakland Raiders at Tennessee Titans
- Indianapolis Colts at San Francisco 49ers
- Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers
- New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys
- New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings
- Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos
Of course fans abroad can’t wait to see NFL games being played in London, the pre-season games is what they’ll have to deal with, at least for now. Yes, it may not be as competitive as the regular season would be but it is appetizer enough for the meal (NFL regular) that is due in the next couple of days.
Bragging rights, morale boosts (for the players… and even the fans) is at stake. So maybe the NFL pre-season games are not to be overlooked. Of course, the players and coaches won’t, that’s why you shouldn’t too.
Yes, we know you’re not a QB (quarterback) or a CB (cornerback) but you can also be a part of the pre-season friendlies by backing your favorite teams (or at least the teams you think will win). You can as well see it as your way of sharpening your NFL betting skills as well as winning even more money into your betting account.
You can click on any of the games listed above and get involved in all of the NFL pre-season action.
Cheers to the new season of touchdowns, fumbles, field goals and turnovers ahead!
