NFL (Week 5): What You Need to Know and Who You Need to Bet On

October 08, 2020 Leave a Comment

NFL

It has been one of the busiest months for lovers of American sports. From Major League Baseball to NBA Playoffs Final action and also American Football, it’s been back-to-back action. And the action is set to continue, at least in the NFL, till the end of the year.

Before the playoffs season begins in 2021, NFL teams have to make the most of the regular season. And while some have started on the best note possible, others are yet to find their feet. As the season continues along its course, here are some of the teams you should look out for:

  1. Green Bay Packers

After falling short of a Super Bowl appearance earlier this year, the Packers have started out like a team on a mission. With four wins in their first four NFL games, they’re one of the sides to pay more attention to this season. What’s more?

They’ve managed an average of 40 points per game since the season began. They’re one of the deadliest sides in the National Football Conference and will be hoping to go one better than their outing last season.

  1. Kansas City Chiefs

The reigning champions of the NFL have continued the new season from where they stopped the last. The Chiefs are now on 4 – 0 run in the league, having won their first four games of the season.

Combined with their run from the previous season, they’re now on a 13-game winning streak. That’s what happens when you have one of the best quarter-backs in the league in your team.

  1. New York Jets

Since the season began, they have lost every game they have played. That’s four losses in the first four games of the season. There couldn’t be a worse way for a team to start their league campaign. Making it to the playoffs could still be a very long shot now.

  1. San Francisco 49ers

They have only managed to win 50% of their games this season. But that’s the least surprising thing about the 49ers this season.

In their four games played so far, they have not scored 40 (or more points) in any. In their two wins, they could only manage 36 and 31 points respectively. In their two losses so far, they got 25 and 24 points respectively.

This weekend will see action continue in various stadiums across America. From touchdowns and tackles, it will be the continuation of what is widely hoped to be an exciting season. Will you be placing your bets on any of these teams? Who’s your money on?
