3 Questions Every PL Fan is asking. Can You Answer Them?

April 24, 2019 Leave a Comment

The business end of the PL season is here and it has been more dramatic than anyone ever anticipated.

Everywhere you look on the table, there’s plenty of drama, with teams scrapping for points.

The busiest parts of the Premier League table are the ones that have got fans talking the most. From the title race to the relegation battle, fans are not just talking, they’re asking questions. You’ve most likely asked these questions before too.

So, what exactly are these questions and can anyone really answer them?

  1. Who Will Win the Premier League Title?

This one has been a two-horse race since the season began.

If Manchester City has somewhat become a better team from last season, they have Liverpool to thank for it. The Reds have pushed Man. City all the way this season. They’ve left no room for errors, making their home a fortress and making the most of their away games.

Which of these two sides can win all their remaining games before the season ends?

Although City has lost four games, they’re still in contention to win the league. And with just a few games to go till the end of the season, no one knows for sure who will win the league.

  1. Which Team Will Be the Third Team to Get Relegated?

The EFL Championship is getting ready to send three teams to the Premier League. Two teams (Fulham and Huddersfield) have had their relegation status confirmed already. However, there’s still one spot left.

With Burnley securing their safety against Chelsea, three teams can still get relegated this season:

  • Southampton
  • Brighton
  • Cardiff City

Cardiff still has to play Manchester United. Brighton still has a game against Manchester City. The Saints still have to travel to London to take on West Ham. One of these teams MUST GO DOWN. Which one will it be?

  1. Which Teams Will Finish the Season in Top Four?

Four teams are currently in contention to finish the season in the top four.

However, only two slots remain for these four sides.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham have to fight it out for these two remaining slots.

For these teams, the best option is to win all their games till the end of the season.

Judging by the events of last weekend – where all four teams either lost or drew their games, including Manchester United’s embarrassing defeat to Everton – fans are in for an unpredictable end to the top-four drama.

So, what do you think about these three questions? Can you foresee the future already? Can you help answer these questions?
