Another Serie A season, another Serie A title for Juventus. The last side to win the title that was not Juventus was AC Milan in the 2010/2011 season. That year, Juventus finished in seventh. Since then, Juventus’ stranglehold on the league has been unbreakable.
A ninth title in a row this season didn’t, however, dampen the excitement of the season.
Inter Milan’s blistering start to the season, Atalanta’s incredible goal-scoring form and the Milan revival has contributed to an unforgettable Serie A season. As the season winds down to a close, there isn’t much to fight for at the top of the table.
However, it’s a different ball-game at the bottom of the table.
Brescia and SPAL have been confirmed as the two relegated sides. One more team has to join them. Genoa, in 17th, and Lecce, in 18th, separated by just one point, are the two sides trying to avoid relegation.

As for the first half of the Serie A’s final day, the top seven sides on the table will be in action, in epic clashes.
While Juventus take on AS Roma, there’ll an epic battle for second place between Atalanta and Inter Milan. Both sides have secured Champions League football for next season. However, bragging rights, ending the season on a high and Atalanta scoring 100 goals are the few things at stake.
Atalanta are unbeaten in 17 league games – winning 13 of them. Having won their last seven home games, they’re well poised to win this game. However, Inter Milan are also unbeaten in their last seven Serie A games.
Three of their last five meetings have ended in a draw.
