Premier League Games

There are only two rounds of Premier League games left in the 2019/2020 season. And seven of the 17 remaining games will be played this week.

Since the Premier League’s Project Restart kicked off, it has been nothing short of eventful. The title has been decided and one of the three teams to be relegated has been confirmed. Despite less than 20 games left to be played, there is still plenty of drama to look forward to… and also cash in on.

Three of the Round 37 games were played over the weekend. At least two goals were scored in all three games, continuing the recent streak of goals in the league. Only one of the last 25 Premier League games played have ended with less than two goals scored.

Should that trend continue this week, then the goals are a sure bet! But which games are there to bet on?

  1. Liverpool vs. Chelsea

After defeating Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final, Chelsea are in some fine form. The Blues travel to Anfield in high spirits to face a Liverpool side that has won only twice in their last five.

The history between both sides, however, has seen Liverpool win three of their last five games.

Since football resumed in England, none of Chelsea’s games has ended in a draw.

  1. Wolves vs. Crystal Palace

Another Premier League team whose games have always produced a winner in recent times is Crystal Palace. The Eagles haven’t drawn any of their previous 13 league games – winning four and losing nine, including five of their last five.

On the other hand, Wolves have not faired any better. With just two wins in their last two, the goals have been rare to come by for Nuno’s men, with only five goals scored in the last five.

  1. Manchester United vs. West Ham

Say hello to Manchester United, the most in-form team in the Premier League… that is still stuck in fifth, despite an unbeaten run in the league this year. Their struggle for a Premier League top-four finish continues. And they will be looking to win all three points in their next game against a West Ham side that have scored 14 in their last five.

  1. Watford vs. Manchester City

One of the most dangerous teams to play against this period are teams fighting for survival. Coincidentally, Watford, in 17th, are still battling for their lives. And that’s why Man. City may not have a warm welcome when they travel to fact The Hornets.

Not much separates these two sides in terms of recent form. Watford have lost three of their last five while City have lost two of their last five.

In the other three Premier League games this week, Sheffield United will take on Everton, Brighton welcome Newcastle while Aston Villa play host to FA Cup finalists, Arsenal.
