28 games have been played in the Premier League this season. At the top, it’s clear which team is serious about winning the league title.
At the bottom, the battle to avoid relegation is still not as clear.
With 10 games still to be played, as many as five clubs could still get relegated. Top of that list is rock-bottom Sheffield United. Chris Wilder’s men have only kept a clean sheet in two of their last 10 games.
Although they’re still alive in the FA Cup, there’s still plenty of work to be done if they’re to play Premier League football next season.

They may have just four wins this season. But theirs is not the worst defense in the league. With 45 goals conceded, they are still a far cry from the 56 that West Brom has let in this season.
Sam Allardyce’s men have won just three games this season. With 20 scored this season, they’ve spent quite the while in 19th place. And they seem destined to remain there unless the tide changes.
Their win against Brighton was their second win this year, despite playing over 10 league games. That same win is the only one they have managed in their last 10 competitive games.
Out of the running in other football competitions, they have all the time in the world to fight their way out of the relegation waters they’re swimming in.

Sheffield are on 14 points. West Brom have managed 18. Fulham, the side in 18th, have managed 26 points.
While it seems the two sides below them already have their fate decided for them, Fulham, still in the relegation waters, have their own version of battle to fight.
Two other teams, Brighton (on 26 points) and Newcastle, on 27 points are still very much part of the relegation battle too. And Fulham have to best these two sides in their quest to play PL football next season.
Brighton and Fulham have won the same number of games – five. But both Brighton and the Toons have played one less game than the sides in the bottom three.
All five clubs involved will be hoping for the best going forward. Of these five teams, none of them have scored 30 goals this season.
