Premier League Resumption

Premier League Resumption

In the past few days, we’ve seen the resumption of football in Germany, Spain, and even Italy.  But none has been eagerly anticipated like the return of football in England, specifically the Premier League.

You can say the hype is largely connected to how popular the league is. With the return of the most-watched league in the world, the superstars will return to our T.V screens and the arguments will return to the social media streets.

However, there’s more to the hype.

The Premier League’s Project Restart means PL games will now be available to bet on. Fans of the league can now enjoy both the excitement on the pitch and the joy of cashing out on their favorite teams, teams they follow well, and know so much about.

Only a few things could be better than this. And that’s why there’s so much noise about the return of the Premier League.

12 games will be played in the first five days of the league’s resumption. That’s a lot of action to enjoy… and a lot of games to bet on. So, which team will you be rooting for?

The league resumes with Manchester City welcoming Arsenal to the Etihad Stadium. There’s news about Pep Guardiola having a full squad to choose from against the Gunners. And with City priced at odds of 1.35 to defeat Arsenal, Mikel Arteta’s side faces an uphill task.

City have won their last six competitive games against Arsenal, scoring at least two goals in all of them.

Another blockbuster game that will usher in the Premier League restart is the one between Tottenham and Manchester United. Both sides are only separated on the table by four points. Interestingly, they’re both fighting for a chance to finish in the top four, with United currently fifth and Spurs in eighth.

Over 2,5 goals have been scored in four of the last five meetings between both sides.

Sheffield United are currently in Dreamland. Sitting in the seventh position, they will fancy their chances of at least qualifying for Europe. Their 25 goals conceded is only second to Liverpool’s 21. Against Aston Villa, they will have the chance to win another three points which will further strengthen their hopes.

Another team in Dreamland is Liverpool. The Reds are in pole position to win a first Premier League title. And they start off their campaign with a trip to Everton in the second Merseyside derby of the season. Watford will take on Leicester while West Ham and Wolves will slug it out.
