4 Returning Football Leagues to Cash in On This Month

After what has been a quiet April and an almost-silent May in the world of spot, football will be breaking the silence in June.

Following in the footsteps of the German Bundesliga and the South Korea K-League, other leagues will also be resuming this month. Because of how many they are, some of tagged June the ‘Month of Football.’

  1. Premier League

It’s no longer news that the Premier League stars will be returning to our T.V. screens later this month. In a bid to finish the 19/20 league season, action will resume in the PL on the 17th of June.

The league will return with the cracker between Manchester City and Arsenal. Among the other games to be played, Sheffield United will face Aston Villa on the day the league returns.

  1. Portugal Primera Liga

The first weekend in the month will see action resume in Portugal’s top-flight club football competition.

The league which hasn’t seen any action for three months will now have players try to complete the season which has 10 more games to be played.

Separated by just one point, FC Porto and Benfica are the front-runners in the title race. At the bottom of the table, Portiminense and Aves will try to climb out of the relegation zone.

  1. La Liga

Barcelona and Real Madrid will continue their race for the title when it resumes on the 11th of June. Just like in the Primera Liga, the league has now been on three-month break. And to an extent, the match fitness of players remains an issue that might influence results when the league resumes.

Sevilla, in third, and Valencia, in seventh, are separated by just five points. This describes, perfectly, just how much drama await when the league kicks off this month.

  1. Italian Serie A

Juventus and Lazio are the top two sides on the league table. However, none of them have scored as many goals as Atalanta (70 goals) this season.
