The 2020/2021 season of the Italian Serie A has been all shades of exciting. The football gods must have determined to shake things up in Italian club football. That’s the only explanation for the upsets, shock results and the surprise leader at the top the table after the winter break.
Both Milan clubs are currently running the show in Italy, in case you’ve not been paying attention lately. For the Red half of Milan, they will be looking to continue their league run where they left it off. They’re the only unbeaten side in the league so far, boasting a Zlatan Ibrahimovic that’s the league’s third-highest goal-scorer.

Just in case you’re wondering, the reigning champions are currently sitting in sixth, behind AS Roma, Sassuolo and Napoli. The Old Lady had a torrid ending to their year 2020, dropping points in three of their last five games. Although Cristiano Ronaldo is the league’s leading goal-scorer, he hasn’t been able to help their cause much so far this season.
They can climb up the table by defeating these two sides.

In terms of goals scored, AS Roma has been one of the most exciting sides to watch in the league this season. Their 31 goals scored makes them the third-deadliest side in the league this season. Like Sassuolo, Atalanta, Juventus and Udinese, they too have only lost one of their last five league games.
They, also like every other team in the league, will be looking to start 2021 on a winning note. The goal is to win – and keep winning – and maintain their fight for a chance to win the league title.
