It’s an unusual eighth month of the year.
Arsenal just finished off Chelsea for a 14th FA Cup title and the NBA Playoffs for the year have not been played. Instead of Champions League qualifiers for the next season, some Round of 16 games are still unplayed.
The year 2020 has been quite a ride for sports fans.
While the second quarter of the year was pretty quiet, the third quarter has been filled with a lot of sporting action. And the action is set to continue through the month of August.

Playoff spots are still very much up for grabs as action resumes in the NBA. With a four-month hiatus over, teams and players are slowly getting into the groove of things. With all the games played so far finishing with at least 200+ points, the month of August will see more high-scoring games as the regular season comes to a close.

The last we heard of the UEFA Champions League this season was when the draws were made. With all of Europe’s top five leagues done and dusted with, the stage is now set for the grandest club competition in Europe.

The halted Europa League season will resume this month with teams taking care of unfinished business and charting a course towards the final.
