Out of the 16 teams that made it to the post-season of the NBA, only four have survived: two teams each from the Eastern and the Western Conference.
All four teams that made it this far in the NBA Playoffs won their best-of-seven series by either a 4-0 margin or a 4-1 margin.
In the Western Conference, Houston Rockets won Game 5 of their series against Utah Jazz to win the best-of-seven-series 4-1. Also in the same Conference, Golden State Warriors finished off New Orleans Pelicans by a 4-1 margin too – although they also needed Game 5 to see off their opponents.
In the Eastern Conference, Cleveland Cavaliers took the Toronto Raptors to the cleaners (4-0) while Boston Celtics defeated Philadelphia 76ers by a 4-1 margin.
With the Conference Finals set to kick-off on Sunday, which of these four teams will face off in the NBA Playoffs Final?
Eastern Conference Final
The second seed in the Eastern Conference, Boston Celtics, will take on fourth seed Cleveland Cavaliers of a chance to play in the final of the NBA Playoffs.
On one hand, the Celtics managed to score 100+ points in 5 of their last 6 NBA games. Those 5 games ended in wins for the Celtics. They’ve found a way to win their last 6 home games with all 6 games having points total of over 200.
On the other hand, the Cavs haven’t had such a flawless record away from home court in recent times. In their last 6 games away from home, they’ve only won four, losing twice. But like the Celtics, 5 of those games ended with over 200 total match points.
Do you think there will over 204.5 points scored in Game 1?

Western Conference Final
Houston Rockets (1) start the series at home against Golden State Warriors (2). If there’s one thing both franchises are notorious for, it’s their ability to score quite a number of points and down a number of three-pointers too.
Two years ago, during the 2015-2016 season Warriors became the first team to make 1000 3s (1,077). In the two years that followed, Houston Rockets smashed that record twice: first setting a new one in the 2016-2017 season (1,181) and then a new one this season (1,184) as at April 1, 2018.
If you’re still in doubt of the scoring prowess of both teams, here’s another stat to convince you: In the last 6 meetings between both sides, both teams scored over 100 points in 5. Of those 6 games, Golden State Warriors have won the most times (4).
