The month of June was nothing short of breathtaking.
How do you explain a month in which fans had to switch from channel to channel, following various games? How do you describe a month in which we could bet on Europe’s top 5 leagues again?
It was an incredible month, marking the return of top-flight football. Now gone, July will follow in its steps as more sporting competitions make a return. This means more events to enjoy… and more betting options to choose from.
Before you get carried away with excitement, let’s take a look at what July has in store for us.

F1
Yes, the fast cars will return to the race tracks this month. Months after the first race should have taken place in Australia, the season restarts with three races on consecutive weekends.
Again, Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari will battle it out for dominance. Lewis Hamilton will try to find a way past the other drivers as he tries to chase a record-equalling seventh world championship title.

MLS
Unlike the 2020 F1 season, the new MLS season was interrupted by the COVID-19 break after just two rounds of games. In a bid to restart the league campaign, a new format will be adopted for the rest of the season.
In a press statement released, the league said:
“Similar to a FIFA World Cup, the tournament will feature a continuous schedule of matches nearly every day…”

In other words, instead of the regular league format, the rest of the 2020 MLS season will be played out like a knockout competition, featuring quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final game. Teams have been grouped into six groups, with Group A consisting of six teams.

Chinese Super League and J1 League
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in the Asian region, lockdown and social distancing have been the order of the day. As they prepare to return to business as usual, football is also looking to make a return in the region.
Much later this month, the Super League will kick off after a five-month delay. While they await football’s return in China, they can enjoy some club football action in Japan as early as the first weekend in July.

The J1 League will be resuming from where it stopped – MatchDay 2. Six teams, which started the 2020 campaign with a win, will be looking to continue from where they stopped this weekend.

NBA
Slam dunks, games that spill into over-time, and shots from downtown will return this month as basketball resurrects in the U.S.A.
22 teams will be returning to action before the month is over as the league sets to wrap up the season by October. After the over-four-months hiatus, NBA games will be played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida.
June was a blockbuster. With the return of these events in July, it’s the perfect situation for sport fans and those looking to make some extra cash from their betting business.
Cheers to an amazing month ahead!
