The NFL regular season is coming to an end. When the world welcomes year 2019, we would have said goodbye to the regular season 2019 will usher in the Wild Card Round, the Divisional Round, the Conference Championships, the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl.

December 30th will witness the last GameWeek of the regular season. And it’s a GameWeek with a lot at stake for respective teams. Most of these teams will be hoping to continue playing in the post-season. They will also be hoping that games will not be over-officiated.

Just like these teams, get ready to cash in on these games before the year runs out. Step into 2019 in style with the following games:

  1. Kansas City vs. Oakland Raiders

The Chiefs top the standings in the AFC. With a 11-4 record this season, they are closely followed in second by New England Patriots (10-5 record). Playing against bottom-placed Raiders, KC Chiefs will be looking to clinch the No. 1 spot with a win in this game.

A win for Chiefs will confirm a No. 5 spot in the Wild Card round for Los Angeles Chargers. This would make the game between the Chargers and the Broncos not necessarily relevant.

2. New England Patriots vs. New York Jets

A win for the Patriots in this game will help them to secure the No. 2 spot in the AFC. This win will give them an edge over Houston Texans who have a similar record with the Patriots, 10-5.

The Patriots have the head-to-head tiebreaker over Houston, guaranteeing them the higher seed if both teams end the season with the same record. If both teams were to lose, New England would still secure the second seed.

3. Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears

The last spot in the NFC playoff bracket is where some last-minute drama could happen. The Vikings currently occupy the No. 6 spot. This weekend, they will face a tough Bears team. A win over the Bears guarantees the Vikings a spot in the postseason.

With Philadelphia Eagles in the hunt, the Vikings have to be wary of a loss. Should they lose to the Bears and the Eagles win their game, the Vikings will be eliminated from the playoffs. A Vikings loss and an Eagles win will result in Philadelphia taking the No. 6 spot.

It’s a two-way battle for the play-off spot in the NFC.
Which of these two teams do you think wants it more: Minnesota Vikings or the Chicago Bears?

Should the Vikings win or the Vikings and Eagles both lose, Minnesota will move on to the playoffs.
