The UEFA Champions League makes a return this week with the second leg of Round of 16 games. It’s time for the teams who set the early pace in the first leg to consolidate on their early lead. For other sides, like Barcelona and Leipzig, it’s time to dig in deep and save themselves.
The Catalan giants fell hard in their clash against PSG. Despite their home advantage, Barcelona conceded for goals, three scored by Kylian Mbappe. Now the away side in this fixture, Messi and co have to do all it takes to clear their deficit and then gain the lead.
Since that loss, Barcelona have not lost a game. With four wins and a draw (and four clean sheets too), Ronald Koeman’s men enter this game in high spirits. While they’ve scored the first goal in seven of their last seven, they face a PSG side that has also scored the first goal in seven of their last nine games.

Another challenge in Barcelona’s way has to be the fact that they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in three of their last three against the French side. Both sides have also scored in eight of the last 10 meetings. There’s plenty to ponder upon for Barcelona if they’re to get anything out of this game.
Another side looking to make a comeback is RB Leipzig.

The Germans slipped to a 2-0 loss to Liverpool after their home UCL game was moved. Since that loss, they’ve not lost a single game, keeping a clean sheet in three of their last four games.
The Reds won their first game against the Germans some weeks back. Since that win, they’ve won only once, losing thrice, which were all home games. The Germans will be hoping Liverpool’s poor run of home form continues as they visit Anfield for their UCL commitment later this week.
Another side that will be seeking a comeback is Juventus.

Theirs was a surprise loss against Porto in the first leg.
Although both sides scored, the Portuguese side took the advantage in the first leg. Although their lead is a one-goal margin, the Italians still have to catch up – and also avoid conceding the highly dreaded away goal.
Another side that has to catch up is Sevilla. After conceding three goals at home, they have to take on a BVB side that has scored 10 goals in their last four games.
