Eight has been reduced to four in the UEFA Champions League as the competition heads into the semi-finals.
Two English clubs have been eliminated from the competition, with Tottenham and Liverpool flying the Premier League flag.
Surprise package, Ajax and the Catalan giants, Barcelona, make up the final four.
It’s been an eventful UCL season so far. And the excitement is about to continue as all four sides jostle for the chance to win the trophy. In the semi-final pairings:

FC Barcelona is flying the Spanish flag. Ajax is the side from Netherlands that nobody gave a chance. Tottenham and Liverpool are two sides hoping it make a UCL trophy that will be returning to England.

With two English sides remaining, there is a higher chance of an English side entering the final. More likely are the chances of an English side winning the trophy.
Going forward, all four will be bringing their best and their experience these semi-finals.
As for Ajax, they’ve been the giant killers of this tournament. After eliminating Real Madrid and Juventus, the Dutch side will be looking to eliminate even more sides on their way to the final.
Tottenham’s win over Manchester City will be a huge morale booster for Mauricio Pochettino. Although they will be without Harry Kane, they look like a side that can successfully hold their own.
Liverpool is on their way to yet another final. Lionel Messi and co. are aiming for yet another UCL trophy.
