Competitive national team football returned to our screens this week. Our favorite superstars have featured in their national team colors in the past few days. And the UEFA Nations League games are set to continue over the next few days.
What started with a draw between the Germans and the Spaniards has seen several games played over the last few days. Only two of the first round of games in the various leagues saw goalless games.
Before the Premier League is ushered in next week, another set of games will be played this week.
So what games are there to look out for?

France vs. Croatia
The pick of the bunch in the first round of UEFA Nations League games has to Croatia’s heavy defeat to Portugal. The reigning UEFA Nations League champions put four past Croatia. And now, the Croats have to find a way to bounce back from that defeat, against the World champions.

2. Netherlands vs. Italy
Both sides come into this UEFA Nations League game, unbeaten in their last five. And they both share a history that goes way back.

The Dutch have it all to do in this game, however, having failed to defeat Italy in the last five meetings between both sides.
3. Czech Republic vs. Scotland
Czech Republic were the biggest scorers in the opening round of games, scoring three past Slovakia. Up next for them is a home game against a Scotland that opened its UEFA Nations League account with a 1-1 draw against Israel.
This tie has always favored the home side in times past. Of the last six editions of this game, the away side has only won once.
4. Spain vs. Ukraine
Spain needed a last-gasp goal to win a point against Germany. With home advantage on their side on GameDay 2, they will look to get the better of Ukraine.
Managed by Shevchenko, Ukraine got their UEFA Nations League campaign to a great start, with a 2-1 win over Switzerland. However, this fixture has not favored Ukraine in recent times. Can they turn things around?
