With the international break in full swing, international football is set to take centre stage – at least for the next 7-10 days.
Of all the action to look forward to, one you can’t afford to miss out on is the UEFA Nations League which will be featuring the biggest stars in Europe.
The league has been split into four different Leagues, with teams drawn according to their standings on the world rankings. The action which started last month will continue till the end of the year and even beyond.
In League A,
France is top of League A1 which has Germany and Netherlands – bottom of the League. The French side, after 2 games played, have yet to lose a game. Germany and Netherlands will be looking for their first points when they clash this Saturday.
In League A2, Iceland sit rock bottom of a League being topped by Switzerland and Belgium – both teams are joint top with 3 points apiece. League A3 will feature the first game of the UEFA Nations League this Thursday a Ronaldo-less Portugal take on Poland.
Both sides have suffered defeat at the hands of the Spaniards and will be looking to win this game.

In League B,
All the four groups also have 3 teams each.
Ukraine (League B1), Russia (League B2), Bosnia-Herzegovina (League B3) and Denmark (League B4) all opened their account with wins and are too of their respective groups.
Slovakia (League B1), Sweden (League B2), Austria (League B3), and Republic of Ireland (League B4) are all bottom of their respective leagues/groups. In the coming days, they will be looking for their first wins.
In both of their opening games, it ended with over 2,5 goals.

In League C,
Only League C1 has three teams, with the other three leagues – League C2, League C3, and League C4 all having four teams each.
Finland and Bulgaria are the two teams in this league that have maintained a 100% record, winning all of their two games played and topping their respective groups. In League C4, the Romanians have not won a game. But they’ve not also lost a game yet, with 2 draws in their last 2 games.
